✦ Classic Hibiscus Splash Iced Tea Recipe
There are many paths to the same place, and that's especially true when it comes to the perfect herbal iced tea recipe! You can brew the tea with boiling water and wait for it to cool before adding ice - or you can brew it as a cold infusion.
If making a traditional hot infusion, add the tea blend to a kettle and strain the leaves out after 15 minutes or so. Allow the brew to cool before adding ice.
If making a cold infusion, mix cold water with the tea blend and place in the fridge for 3 hours+ - overnight.
Note: When I plan on making and herbal iced tea, I always brew the blend a little stronger to make up for the ice diluting the tea. Feel free to adjust the ratios based on how strong you like your tea.
